Inspired by Jennifer L. Armentrout's "Flesh and Fire" series, this piece reveals a moment behind the waterfall where Nuctos gazes at Sera as she swims in the lake she calls her own. The poppies symbolize the flower that reminds Nyctos of Sera.

In the story, Sera brings life back to a dying landscape with her divine power, which is the essence of this artwork. The golden details aim to express the magic of that moment.
